The recent wildfires in Southern California have left a trail of devastation, displacing thousands of families and destroying over 12,000 homes. Thankfully, the fires are out, but the hard work of rebuilding lives remains ahead. In the face of this crisis, the credit union movement is coming together through the Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund to demonstrate the commitment, compassion, and spirit of our cooperative community.

The Fund is already making an impact thanks to the generous contributions of many credit unions, credit union members, trade associations, and system partners. However, the need for assistance continues to grow, and we invite those who have yet to join the effort to consider contributing to a fund that directly helps to provide temporary housing, clothing, food, and other essential needs to displaced homeowners, renters, and those who have lost their jobs.
